When a child is diagnosed with cancer, lives are changed forever. Families are rocked to their core. Mom & Dad soon realize they are facing unimaginable challenges ahead and that is when they become vulnerable to life. They forget to pay the electric bill or can’t pay because they have high medical deductibles or co-pays. They need that extra $50 to fill the gas tank this week, so that they can make the necessary trips to the hospital for their child’s treatments, but wonder where they are going to “find” it. And worst of all they never planned to lose their child, so the last thing in the world they planned for was a funeral.

The Little Fighter Foundation knows you have thousands of organizations, both near and far, to choose from to support. We ask you to take a few minutes and get to know us. We are a small fledgling non-profit foundation, but we are a driven group who can see the hope that emotional, physical and financial support can bring to families that are in the fight of their life. Why are we so driven? Because our founders, Tina and Ruben Smith, have a son who was diagnosed with a rare childhood caner at the age of 2. Tina and Ruben are driven so they drive us! They have shown us firsthand how richly rewarding their cause is.

Our goal is to be able to assist every family that comes our way. By assist, we mean giving them the financial support to get by when they are scraping pennies due to unexpected medical expenses. By giving them emotional strength when they just need a listening ear or shoulder to cry on. And most importantly, including them as part of the Little Fighter Foundation family. We were formed so your donations can make the “new norm” a little easier to endure.

Now that you know a little about us, we hope that you find us to be a non-profit organization that you want to support.
